Apex for insurance brokers
This damage photo is real. Here’s the link.
Apex Verify gives insurance brokers, adjusters and policyholders capture-first proof for damage photos, inventories and inspections. Shot in Apex Camera, sealed at capture, shared with a public or 24-hour private link.

The numbers
The trust problem is already expensive.
$308.6B
estimated yearly cost of insurance fraud in the U.S., across all lines; $45B in property and casualty alone. [1]
99%
of surveyed claims professionals have encountered manipulated or AI-altered documentation. [2]
36%
of U.S. consumers would consider digitally editing a claim photo or document. Among Gen Z: 55%. [2]
Why photos alone fail
One edited photo can move a whole claim.
Bigger dents, older damage, a stranger’s flooded basement: AI makes it a two-minute job. Metadata is editable and disappears on upload, and detectors only guess. Claims need a source, not another opinion.
Why metadata and detectors failWhere it matters
Six moments that need proof.
First notice of loss
The policyholder captures the damage in Apex Camera right away, not from the camera roll. The adjuster opens a private link with device, time and content hash.
24-hour private linkPre-loss inventory
Document the home, the contents or the vehicle before anything happens. Sealed originals stay in the private Vault until the day they matter.
Private VaultAdjuster and field inspections
Inspectors capture on site in Apex. Every photo carries when and with which device it was taken, ready for the file.
24-hour private linkContractor before and after
Repair shops and contractors capture before and after in Apex, so the payout is tied to work that was provably captured.
24-hour private linkCommercial risk surveys
Brokers document a client’s site, equipment and safety measures for underwriting, with a record the carrier can open.
24-hour private linkDisputes and subrogation
Hand evidence to the other side or to counsel as a link that expires, instead of loose files that travel forever.
24-hour private link
Two kinds of link
Public when it should be. Private when it must be.
Public link
Permanent.
Permanent and open to anyone. Made for public claims, published reports and your broker profile.
Private link
Gone in 24 hours.
For one recipient, revocable, and gone after 24 hours. Made for damage inside homes, personal belongings and claim files that must stay private.

Honest limits
Proof of capture. Not a verdict.
What it provesThe photo or video was captured in Apex Camera, on this device, at this time, by this account, and has not changed since.
What it doesn’tThat the damage was not staged, how or when the loss happened, or that the claim is covered. It is evidence of the capture, not a claims decision.
Questions
Straight answers.
- How can an insurer check that a claim photo is authentic?
- If it was captured in Apex Camera, the insurer can open its verify link and see the original with creator, device, capture time and content hash. The record shows where the file came from and that it has not changed since capture.
- Can a policyholder upload photos from their camera roll?
- They can send them, but those photos never receive Apex proof. Proof is created only at the moment of capture inside Apex Camera.
- What is a 24-hour private link?
- A link to an Apex record for a specific recipient. It can be revoked and expires after 24 hours, so sensitive claim evidence is never published to a profile.
- Is Apex a deepfake detector?
- No. Detectors guess from pixels and fall behind every new model. Apex creates a signed record at capture and lets anyone check the source instead.
- What does an Apex record contain?
- The original photo or video, the creator, the capture device, the capture time, a content hash and the permanent verify link. The record follows the same idea as C2PA Content Credentials; Apex does not yet embed interoperable C2PA credentials in every exported file.
- Does an Apex record prove a claim is valid?
- No. It proves the capture: this file came out of Apex Camera at this time on this device and is unchanged. Coverage, cause and staging still need human judgement.
