Content credentials describe origin, edits and authenticity signals. They provide evidence without pretending that every image or creator is automatically trustworthy.
Why provenance matters
When synthetic media looks convincing, provenance changes the question from ‘does this look real?’ to ‘what is known about its source and journey?’
